Instructions in English

Do you ask your child for something simple like, “Come here” or “Bring me the ball,” but they don’t respond?

This doesn’t necessarily mean they’re ignoring you; they might simply be having difficulty understanding or following instructions.

Following instructions is a fundamental skill that helps children:

* Learn at home and at school
* Improve their focus and attention
* Interact better with others

Guidelines in English

📌 How can I help my child follow commands?

1. Start with simple, clear commands (just one or two words).

2. Use a calm, steady tone of voice.
3. Make sure your child is looking at you before giving the command.
4. Give them enough time to respond.
5. If they don't respond, gently guide them (with simple physical instructions).

6. Reinforce them immediately when they respond (praise, applause, a small reward).

⚠️ Common mistakes:

* Giving more than one command at a time. * Raising your voice or repeating yourself excessively. * Not reinforcing the response.

✨ Remember: Your child learns step by step, and with repetition and reinforcement, they will begin to respond better.

experience

Have you tried multiple approaches with your child, but they still don't ask for things? Don't imitate? Or don't respond to commands? This is exactly what I've witnessed daily during my more than 10 years working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Through direct experience as a shadow teacher in the classroom and daily interaction with these children, a real gap became apparent: Many children have clear learning potential, but they need a structured approach and a well-thought-out plan to unlock these abilities. This is where the focus shifted to the fundamental skills that make a real difference: Attention, imitation, following instructions, and communication… because these are the keys to any subsequent development. We work using scientific methods such as ABA and Behavior Modification, employing a simplified and flexible approach tailored to each child, allowing them to learn gradually and without pressure. Specialization and training have also been provided in multiple areas, including: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Speech and Language Therapy, Behavior Modification, and Learning Disabilities, supporting a comprehensive intervention tailored to each child's needs. The focus is not just on the session itself, but on noticeable results in daily life: a child who begins to ask questions, pay attention, interact, and understand their surroundings. This website is not just an idea, but the result of real experience and continuous observation of parents' need for clear and practical solutions. Therefore, it was designed to offer simple, organized, and applicable steps that help you understand your child and work with them confidently. The goal is clear: real results, tangible progress, and steps you can take with your child without distractions… step by step.
